Annamaet Original Senior dog food is a grain inclusive formula that includes lamb and white fish based protein sources to optimize amino acid profiles.Β  The formula contains turmeric, one of the most potent, natural anti-inflammatories.Β  Original Senior also includes coconut oil, a rich source of medium chain triglycerides well known for optimizing elderly brain function.Β  This is a higher protein formula to support lean body mass, as research indicates the increased need for proteins in aging dogs.

Annamaet Original Senior has been fed to over 80 dogs between the ages of 9-12 years of age for 6 months in accordance with AAFCO feeding trials. Extensive blood work on a select group of these dogs has been performed and Annamaet Original Senior is maintaining health and vitality in these dogs.

ADULTS – The age and activity level of your dog will help you determine the amount of Annamaet Original Senior to feed your dog. The feeding chart below is approximate measures for average weights. The look, feel, and actions of your dog should help you determine the amount of feed they need.

 

FEMALES – Gestation and Lactation are two of the most nutritionally demanding stages of a normal adult dog’s life. Food consumption will increase during gestation.Β  Feed the necessary amount to maintain her proper body weight. During lactation, food intake may double or quadruple.

 

PUPPIES – Growing puppies should have approximately twice the amount of calories per pound of body weight as an adult dog.Β If feeding puppies, please feed approximately double the amount in the feeding directions from 8 weeks to 8 months of age. They can be fed moistened amounts three times daily and twice daily after 8 months of age.

 

A standard measuring cup holds approximately 4.09 oz or 116 grams of Annamaet Original Senior.
